This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use the App and related services (together, the “Services”).
Information you provide:
Information collected automatically:
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your health information for advertising.
Your health information is processed on behalf of your healthcare provider and is handled in accordance with applicable healthcare privacy laws, such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) in the United States and the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 in India. Where required, your healthcare provider’s own notice of privacy practices also applies to information they hold about you.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, tenant-level data isolation, and audit logging. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work continuously to protect your data and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to deliver your care, meet legal and medical record-keeping requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12. For account deletion, see Section 9 below.
You can delete your Tachyon Care account and the personal data associated with it at any time.
If you have the app installed: open the app and go to Profile → Delete Account, then follow the on-screen confirmation steps.
If you no longer have the app installed: you do not need to reinstall it. Email us at support@tachyonleap.com from the email address registered to your account and request deletion. After we verify your identity, we will delete your account within 30 days of the verified request.
What we delete: your account information (name, email, phone number, login credentials), vital signs and health readings you recorded in the App, your messages, caregiver and emergency contact details, notification preferences, and device data linked to your account.
What we retain, and why:
Once deletion is complete, your data cannot be recovered and you would need to be re-enrolled by your healthcare organization to use the App again.
The App is intended for use by adults and by patients under the direction of their healthcare provider. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) without appropriate consent from a parent or guardian.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and TachyonLeap Inc (“we”, “us”, “our”) governing your use of the Tachyon Care application and related services (the “Services”). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
The Services are a tool to support communication and care coordination between you and your healthcare provider. The Services do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and information in the App is not a substitute for the professional judgment of your healthcare provider.
Do not use the App for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately. Messages and readings submitted through the App may not be reviewed in real time.
You agree not to:
Vital sign readings, care plan tasks, and reminders in the App depend on the accuracy of the information entered, your device settings, and network availability. Reminders and notifications may be delayed or fail to deliver. You remain responsible for following the instructions of your healthcare provider, including taking medications and completing monitoring activities, whether or not a reminder is received.
You retain ownership of the information you submit through the Services. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit that information solely to provide the Services, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit.
The App, including its software, design, logos, and content (excluding your content), is owned by TachyonLeap Inc or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own care in accordance with these Terms.
The Services may rely on third-party platforms (for example, app stores, cloud hosting, and notification services). Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
We work to keep the Services available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Services, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.
You may stop using the Services at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if your healthcare organization ends its participation, or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 7, 11, 12, and 13) will survive.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will meet your requirements or that data transmission will be secure or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Services or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Karnataka, India, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other reasonable means before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
